Background. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant influence on the main epidemiological indicators of emergency trauma, as well pediatric population.
 Aim. This study aimed to analyze incidence compression fractures vertebral bodies in children between January and July 2020 (the first months pandemic).
 Materials methods. A comprehensive examination treatment 82 adolescents aged 317 years, who received period from 1 31, 2020, was carried out. group 96 same age sustained similar type injury at time 2019 studied control. To make clinical diagnosis, we used methods traditional research for traumatology. severity vertebrogenic determined according AO/ASIF classification.
 Results. total number patients diagnosed with during 14.58% less than that 2019.  Conclusion. Strictly following restrictive anti-epidemic measures is an effective method reducing requiring children.
